PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – Thirty farmers of this town attended the Financial Literacy Training (FLT) last September 6-7, 2018. The aim is to enhance the marketing and business aspect of the farm, educate farmers on good values and financial management, and inform them on various government interventions that will be helpful for them.
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The province of Agusan del Sur (ADS) crafted their agricultural extension-related plans and programs for 2020. A copy of which was furnished to ATI-RTC XIII (ATI-Caraga) during the Provincial Consultation for FY 2019 Program Implementation and FY 2020 Agri-Fishery Needs Planning Workshop held at the Hygeia Integmeds Center, Brgy.
TRENTO, Agusan del Sur – Agricultural extension workers (AEWs), farmers and other private and government workers joined the Training Course on Nursery Establishment, Management and Propagation Technique on Selected High Value Crops last September 5-7, 2018 at the Central Convenience in Poblacion, Trento.
BAYUGAN CITY, Agusan del Sur – In preparation to a loan facility courtesy of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC), 25 farmers in this city underwent a two-day Financial Literacy Training last September 4-5, 2018.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - The Information Services Section (ISS) of ATI-RTC XIII or ATI-Caraga conducted the Regional Rollout Training for Rice Crop Manager (RCM) Use and Operations at the center’s training complex last September 3-6, 2018 this city.
TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur – Based upon the 2020 Work and Financial Plan of Surigao del Sur (SDS) which was furnished to ATI-RTC XIII (ATI-Caraga), there will be more trainings on livestock production in the said province particularly on large ruminant production technologies, small animal production technologies and initiatives to calamities on animal rescue emergency (I-CARE).
The road leading to Teofely Nature Farm may be narrow and circuitous, but it was all worth it. Located in the sloping side of Silang, Cavite, this ATI Learning Site is also a DOT-accredited farm tourism site as well as a TESDA-accredited Farm School for raising native pigs and cultivation of organically grown vegetables, fruits and herbs.
REGION 4-A (CALABARZON) – The region known for its numerous farmlands and tourist attractions was visited by staff of ATI-Caraga last August 27-31, 2018 purposely to do benchmarking in premiere agri-tourism sites as basis in helping out learning sites in Caraga to become farm tourism magnets in the near future.
STA. JOSEFA, Agusan del Sur – Thirty farmers and agricultural extension workers (AEWs) here gained the knowledge and skills in preserving and maintaining the high quality of breeds of swine for more profitable production for both piglets and carcass.
BUTUAN CITY - Espasol, Puto cheese, Pichi-Pichi and Chicharon, these are just some of the Filipino recipes prepared by the participants of the Skills Training on Cassava Processing and Utilization (3rd Batch) on August 15-17, 2018 in ATI-Caraga. The said participants were mostly Cassava farmers from the province of Surigao del Norte.
