14th National eLearning Conference 2018 happening in Mindanao

BUTUAN CITY, Agusan del Norte – The Philippine eLearning Society (PeLS) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) as the principal sponsors will be holding the 14th National eLearning Conference in Mindanao for the first time. The conference is scheduled this coming September 12-13, 2018 at Almont Inland Resort in Butuan City.

FITS Center launches in Gigaquit, SDN

GIGAQUIT, Surigao del Norte - Another Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) center established in Caraga.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte launched its own FITS center on June 7, 2018 in the Municipal Agriculture Office building. This would be an addition to more than 30 established FITS Centers in the region for the previous years.

ATI holds training on sustainable goat production

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - The Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 currently holds training on Sustainable Goat Production under the National Livestock Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA).
Said training aims to enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills in sustainable goat production. This will run for three days from June 6-8,2018.

More cacao farmers equip on GAP

BUTUAN CITY, Agusan del Norte- Two batches of training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on Cacao Production with cacao nursery establishment and management was conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 from May 28 -June 1, 2018.

This aimed at enhancing the participants’ knowledge, attitude and skills on GAP for Cacao Production.

Cut flower growers undergo interpersonal communication skills training

BAYUGAN CITY, Agusan del Sur- A total of 30 cut flower growers from Bayugan City participated in the training on interpersonal communication skills on June 1, 2018.
This aimed at developing and enhancing the participants’ capability of communicating effectively in a more professional way. Handling situations applying effective communication.
