The Philippine Association of Agriculturists Inc. (PAA) - the accredited integrated professional organization (AIPO) for agriculturists by the Philippine Regulatory Commission - is inviting all professional agriculturists and members of the association nationwide to attend its 6th National Congress and 2018 Philippine Agriculturists Summit to be held on July 22-26, 2018 at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City.

The theme for this year's Summit: "Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction: Role of Philippine Agriculturists," will engage experts and authorities on the issue in identifying measures on how to face the threats brought about by the negative impacts of climate change and disasters as well as in defining specific contributions of agriculture professionals on such adaptation and risk reduction measures.

Moreover, the event will give opportunity for participants from the local government units, academe, national government agencies and the private sector all over the country to share their research findings and best practices (paper and poster presentations) related to the theme thereby increasing their knowledge that can be applied in the practice of their profession and ultimately benefit those in the agriculture sector through increased resiliency and improved and sustained agricultural productivity.

To be hosted by PAA-Central Visayas Chapter, this event offers corresponding continuing professional development (CPD) points to all licensed agriculturists who will participate.
