DILIMAN, Quezon City -- The Philippine Association of Agriculturists Inc. This Summit shall have the theme, “Enhancing the Agriculture Profession Towards a Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture in the Global Community.” It provides the venue for participants to discuss issues and updates on the agriculture profession as well as crosscutting technologies on resilience and sustainability to increase food security, competitiveness and product safety in the light of the present ASEAN regional integration and globalization.

The event will also give opportunity to share research findings and best practices where the participants will later adopt and, through their agencies and institutions, join hands in extending the knowledge learned to the farmers in the agriculture sector. The Summit is being organized with the PAA Bicol (Canarium ovatum) Chapter. It will highlight the launching of new chapters and the first oath taking of licensed agriculturists outside of Metro Manila.
