DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) bagged the Most Outstanding High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) implementor under the Bureaus and Attached Agencies Category for its FY 2021 Projects.
Awarded by the Department of Agriculture (DA) HVCDP Office, the outstanding performance citation of the Institute was determined based on: Annual Allocation vs. Actual Obligation; Amount disbursed vs. actual obligations; and Percent Physical Accomplishment. Overall, ATI garnered a total of 95.86%, followed by the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (94.22%), Bureau of Agricultural Research (90.53%), and the Bureau of Plant Industry (84.73%).
For FY 2021, ATI’s significant accomplishments are attributed to the delivery of various innovative capacity-building activities—aligned with the One DA Reform Agenda—which are products of the proactiveness, persistence, and responsiveness of all the Institute’s Regional Training Centers around the country during the pandemic.
On the other hand, for the DA Regional Field Offices (RFO) category, the units that gained the three highest rankings are the DA Cagayan Valley (RFO 02), DA Central Luzon (RFO 03), and the DA-Cordillera Administrative Region (RFO CAR).
The distinction was given during the FY 2023 Plans and Budget Preparation for the HVCDP on January 24, 2022.
