Newly Appointed, Promoted Personnel Take Oath

ATI Director Alfredo Aton administers the oath-taking of staff from the Partnerships and Accreditation Division.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—Some newly appointed and promoted employees of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Central Office have taken their oath with Director Alfredo Aton in a ceremony held last October 13, 2020.

Three of the promoted personnel are from the Partnerships and Accreditation Division. Rosemarie Dulla, chief of the Extension Development Section and focal person for Corn Program, was promoted as Supervising Agriculturist. Also, Romermart Aubigne Peñamora was promoted as Development Management Officer II and Jomar Tabor was appointed as Agriculturist I.

For the Policy and Planning Division, G. Mark Anthony Alforque I and Royson Dela Cruz were promoted as Project Evaluation Officer II and Project Development Officer II, respectively.

Meanwhile, a new addition to the Institute’s workforce is Myriam Layaoen who was sworn into office as Development Management Officer IV for the Career Development and Management Division. Layaoen is formerly a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Philippine Rice Research Institute and, likewise, designated as Deputy for Communications of the Department of Agriculture. She brings in 17 years of experience in public service, with extensive exposure in research and development.

The appointment and promotion of these employees are seen to help the Institute continuously enhance its extension services for the farmers, fishers, and other stakeholders.

The division chiefs of the Institute were also present during the oath-taking rite.
