RCEF Info Caravan Reaches Airwaves of Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur

COTABATO CITY -- Hundreds of rice farmers from the Provinces of Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur had an access of information about the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program) of the Government.

The center’s Information Services Section conducted last July 13 and 14, 2020 the RCEF Information Caravan Radio Broadcast and Facebook Live and was aired via DXMS 882 khz Radyo Bida Cotabato City and 88.3 FM Radyo ni Juan Tacurong City, respectively.

The salient features of the Republic Act 11203 otherwise known as the Rice Tarrification Law and the four components under the RCEF Program were discussed.

Media Production Specialist II Ms Hannadi Guiamad-Pompong and Technical Staff John Lord Auman served as the facilitators during the said radio program. For the two airings, it garnered more than 3,000 views on Facebook.

This information drive is aimed at informing the public, especially the rice farmers, about the government’s program for rice. (JL Aluman)
