Dev’t Policy Research Month Seeks for Local Actions for Global Challenges

The Agricultural Training Institute is one with the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) in the celebration of the 17th Development Policy Research Month (DPRM).
Pursuant to Proclamation No. 247, the DPRM is held every September to promote and draw nationwide awareness on the importance of policy research in the formulation of development plans, programs, and policies.

This year's theme is "Navigating the New Globalization: Local Actions for Global Challenges" with the hope of promoting awareness on the changing face of globalization. Likewise, it intends to enlighten stakeholders on the various challenges that come along with this phenomenon.

To culminate the celebration, the 5th Annual Public Policy Conference (APPC) will be held on September 19, 2019 in Pasay City. The event is seen to serve as a platform to further bridge research and policy-making in the country.
