The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) joins the nation in celebrating this year's Economic and Financial Literacy Week (EFLW) from November 6 to 10, 2017.

This year is the second time the Philippines is marking every second week of November as EFLW to increase awareness of economic and financial concepts among the Filipino people, per Republic Act 10922 or the Economic and Financial Literacy Act. The policy aims to develop national consciousness on economic and financial literacy as the "State recognizes the growth potential of the country through a financially literate people who make sound financial decisions, mobilize savings and contribute ideas on improving economic and financial policies and programs."

Led by the National Economic and Development Authority, this year’s celebration aims to engage the youth and members of the informal sector through 15 regional conferences in partnership with state universities and colleges.
