2019 World Food Day Underlines Healthy Food For All

Posted by:

The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) expresses its support to the celebration of the World Food Day (WFD) this October 16.

WFD 2019 calls for action across sectors to make healthy and sustainable diets affordable and accessible to everyone. Furthermore, it asks everyone to start thinking about what they eat.

In support to the celebration, agri-exhibits will be held at the Department of Agriculture (DA) grounds on October 14-16. These will feature products from different parts of the country.

After this, a culminating activity will be conducted at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City on October 16. Officials from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, DA central office, bureaus, and attached agencies, including ATI, will take part in this undertaking.
