The Agricultural Training Institute is one with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in celebrating the World Food Day this October 16.
The celebration for this year will center on #ZeroHunger. This means working together to ensure everyone, everywhere, has access to the safe, healthy, and nutritious food they need. To achieve it, FAO urges everyone to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, work with others, share knowledge, and be willing to help change the world for the better.
Every year, a large number of events - from marathons and hunger marches, to exhibitions, cultural performances, contests and concerts – are organized in around 150 countries across the world to celebrate #WFD2018. Visit www.fao.org/world-food-day for more details.
