LAMBAYONG, Sultan Kudarat -- The ATI Regional Training Center 12 through its Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program successfully conducted the Refresher Course on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Seed Certification last August 18 to 20, 2020.
The three-day training was held at Lambayong Grain Seed Producer Multipurpose Cooperative in Barangay Didtaras, this Municipality. About 20 seed growers attended the training.
The training served as avenue for the seed-growers to refresh their knowledge on inbred rice seed production which is important in renewing their licenses as certified seed growers.
Among the resource persons during the training were Rice Specialist and RCEF Technical Staff Mr. Danilo A. Bariñan, RCEF Point Person Engr. Mokles P. Buisan and OIC Chief of the Bureau of Plant Industry-National Seed Quality Control Services Region 12 Ms Leonor N. Felarca, MPA.
