DILIMAN, Quezon City—Recognizing the essence of collaboration to speed up rural development, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to partner with groups and organizations such as the League of Municipal Agricultural Officers, Municipal and City Agriculturists of the Philippines, Inc. (LeMMCAP).

ATI and LeMMCAP officials sat down for a meeting to discuss the latter’s plans and activities for 2020, particularly its National Convention.

Moreover, opportunities for improvement were identified and issues relating to the organization’s by-laws were further clarified. The discussions also centered on the creation of committees for the national convention, which will be held on March 23-27, 2020 in Tacloban City.

ATI Director Alfredo Aton welcomed the LeMMCAP national officers present at the activity. He assured them of the Institute’s support to their goals, especially in terms of agricultural progress.

Newly appointed ATI officer-in-charge deputy director Abdul Daya-an also graced the activity held last July 30 to August 1, 2019 at the ATI Rural Development and Education Center in this city.
