RCEF Info Drive Launched via Radio Broadcast

VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon – In order to spread the word and brief not only farmers, as well as stakeholders regarding the Rice Tarrification Law or RA11203, a radio program for it was launched at a local radio station 1134 DXMV, aka Radyo Ukay, located at Valencia City, Bukidnon last July 13, 2020 with Mr. Arthur Sapanghari as its regular anchor.

The program will run for 12 airings starting July 13, 2020 until August 7, 2020 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00-8:30 in the morning. Partner agencies who are involved in the implementation of the RCEF Program were invited to guest for one to two airings each per agency. The invited guests include Mr. Cyril Udtojan from PhilRice and Ms. Manilyn Zanoria from BPI-NSQCS for the Seed Component; Engr. Ian D. Madjus from PhilMech for the Mechanization Component , Mr. Gabriel Jun M. Rara from Landbank of the Philippines for the Credit Component and Mr. El Cid Castillo of TESDA for the Extension Component.

The awareness campaign aims to provide information about the benefits of the Republic Act 11203. Generally, it is designed to rally support to all intermediaries of rice – from producers to consumers and to provide information on how to easily avail the services under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund.
