DILIMAN, Quezon City—On its 33rd year, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is set to further enhance its extension services for Filipino farmers, fishers, and other stakeholders.
With the theme “Vibrant Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Services towards Masaganang Ani and Mataas na Kita,” the Institute commits to adopt innovative extension strategies for the productivity and profitability of its clientele.
Among this year’s focus will be mentoring initiatives for farmers from production until they establish their own business enterprise. Programs and projects for young farmers will also be undertaken to help them and their families become agripreneurs.
Meanwhile, for this year’s anniversary celebration, simultaneous activities will be held at the ATI Central Office and network of training centers nationwide. Motorcades, free seminars, information caravan, sports fests, raffle draws, and contests are among the events to be conducted in the regional offices.
ATI CALABARZON has also launched a series of “ATIng Paglingap” relief operations to help those affected by the Taal eruption.
At the Central Office, a thanksgiving mass, blessing of facilities, and recognition of 2019 loyalty awardees will be held on January 29, 2020.
