DILIMAN, Quezon City—The finance personnel of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) central office and network of training centers convened for the 2019 Closing of the Books to consolidate budgetary and financial accountabilities and assess financial performance for the said year.
Accountants, budget officers, and administrative staff of the Institute participated in the activity and presented their respective financial accomplishments.
During the opening program, Director Alfredo Aton gave some updates and new directives in terms of ATI's administrative and finance operations.
Aton asked the staff to continue executing strategies that will fast-track the process of financial obligations in accordance with government guidelines. Likewise, he commended them for their contributions to the Institute's overall financial performance.
Consolidated financial reports, accomplishments, and statements for 2019 were among the outputs from the activity. This annual event also enabled the ATI finance working group to generate agreements for the improvement of its financial management system and processes.
This activity was held at the ATI Rural Development and Education Center in Quezon City last January 6-10, 2020.
