TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – Now on its third year of implementing the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Program, the Agricultural Training Institute in CALABARZON brings another School on the Air (SOA) program for rice farmers.
“ATIng Ani at Kita: Talakayang RCEF Program sa CALABARZON” will hit the airwaves on April 16 until to August 27, 2021 through its partner radio stations, Radyo Natin Laguna 106.3 FM and Kiss FM 95.1 every Friday at 9:00 – 10:00AM. The program will also be streamed at the ATI Calabarzon Facebook page.
The program prioritizes rice farmers from RCEF provinces namely, Cavite, Laguna and Quezon who will be trained on rice production through the SOA program. The lecturers or radio teachers will come from partner agencies such as DA Regional Field Office IV-A, ATI, PhilRice, PhilMech, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC), Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), APCO, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Landbank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines & TESDA.
