TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - Now on its third year of implementation, the RCEF Program “Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita” in CALABARZON has continuously flourished through the collaboration of various agencies and the private sector.
To evaluate and further improve the program’s performance, ATI CALABARZON organized a consultative meeting which was attended by representatives from TESDA, PhilMech, APCO, OPA and TESDA Accredited Farm Schools.
During the meeting, RCEF’s accomplishments for the past two years as well as the problems encountered by program implementers were presented.
Despite some difficulties in implementing the program, there were also some success stories from various LGU partners, proving that the RCEF program plays a big role in increasing rice production in their locality.
Showing strong support to the program, Center Director, Ms. Marites Piamonte-Cosico stressed, “Kung sa nagdaan na taon mas hirap tayo sa implementation ng RCEF program, ngayon ay unti-unti na tayong nasasanay at nakikita ang positive output nito.”
She further assured the stakeholders that the Center will continue to provide interventions and assistance to our rice farmers, as well as trainings that will further increase their level of awareness and skills.
