To further strengthen the promotion of Organic Agriculture (OA) in CALABARZON, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) CALABARZON conducted the 1st Regional Vloggers and Bloggers Event: Promoting OA in CALABARZON. Some 15 vloggers and bloggers participated in the three-day activity.

Baka sakaling balang araw maging bahagi na nila na magkaroon ng organic farm,” shared by Mr. Donnie Bustamante of Don Bustamante Rooftop Gardening Youtube Channel with more than 200,000 subscribers.
Vloggers and bloggers visited Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) and Schools for Practical Agriculture (SPAs) in Laguna and Quezon province namely Uma Verde Econature Farm in Candelaria, Yumi’s Farm in Tayabas City, Cortijo de Palsabangon Farm, Park & Restaurant in Pagbilao, Lukong Valley Farm in Dolores and Gintong Bukid Farm and Leisure in Nagcarlan. They also toured around ATI CALABARZON Complex and Urban nATIn ‘to, a techno-demo farm of the Center. Participants learned the best practices and technologies in organic farming of the said farms.

The 1st Regional Vloggers and Bloggers Event: Promoting OA in CALABARZON was held on November 25 – 27, 2020. Participants are expected to produce vlogs and/or blogs on the farms visited and/or OA practices of the farms which will be posted in their social media accounts, pages and channels. The activity aims to promote and increase awareness on OA through vlogs and blogs.
