TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - The partnership of Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) – CALABARZON and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship Foundation Inc. - Go Negosyo (PCE-Go Negosyo) dates back in 2017. This year, for its our fourth collaboration, the Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program is delivered through an online platform.

The KAMMP Online was developed as a practical delivery mechanism for the same mentorship modules to be used to propel Agripreneurs to “survive, reboot and grow” amidst the pandemic. Industry practitioners will provide guidance and assistance to agricultural cooperatives or associations, youth and agri-entrepreneurs by sharing learnings from their experiences.

The Center partnered with 10 municipalities in the region, namely, Magdalena, Amadeo, Pila, Bacoor, Candelaria, Gen. Trias, Lucena, Imus, Tanauan and Alfonso through their respective FITS Centers, to carefully select participants for the online training.

Fifty (50) mentees will undergo seven-week training from October 15, 2020 to December 1, 2020. Each mentee will come up and present a business improvement plan at the latter part of the training.

During the program launching last October 15, 2020, Center Director Marites Piamonte-Cosico, encouraged the participants to actively interact with the mentors, as she emphasized that “Experience is the best teacher and the worst experience teach the best lessons.” CD Cosico also expressed high hopes that all mentees will be able to comply the requirements of the online training and apply all the learnings that will be imparted by the mentors.
