FITS Center Gumaca, Quezon bags 1st place in Agriwomen video contest

Gumaca FITS Center staff led by Municipal Agriculturist Socorro Brigette T. Dayunon receives cash prize and certificate of recognition as 1st place winner in the Agriwomen video contest.

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite- In celebration of the National Women’s Month, the Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A led the Agriwomen Video Contest with the theme of “We Make Change Work For Women."

Project Officer, Ms. Janine L. Cailo, mentioned that the video contest is one the activities of the Center which aimed to promote awareness on gender equality, Anti-Violence against Women and their Children (VAWC) and Gender and Development (GAD).

Eleven (11) Farmer’s Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers joined and featured inspiring stories of women in agriculture.

FITS Center Gumaca, Quezon bagged the 1st place; FITS Center Morong, Rizal as 2nd place and 3rd place for FITS Center Antipolo City, Rizal.
Winners received cash prizes and certificates of recognition. Also, the top three winning videos were also posted at the ATI IV-A official Facebook page.

The awarding took place at ATI IV-A training hall, Trece Martires City last March 18, 2019.
