TAAL, Batangas – To standardize the training delivery system among the Extension Service Providers (ESP), the regional ESPs in CaLaBaRZon convene for a technical guidance session. Accredited regional ESP of ATI CaLaBaRZon namely the MoCA Family Farms RLearning Center, Inc., Flor’s Garden & Nature Haven, Inc., Ed Tarriela’s Learning Center & Farm and ABF Integrated Farms & Agribusiness Center Inc. joined the workshop.
Alongside the technical guidance session, ESP council gathered for the 2nd Quarter ESP Accreditation Advisory Council meeting. Present during the meeting were Eugenia Buctuanon of Bureau of Plant Industry; Dr. Lilibeth Novicio of Cavite State University, Vice Chairman; and the provincial ESP Focals - Lilian Telmo of Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) Cavite, Francisco Agonia of OPA Laguna, Piedad Quizon of OPA Batangas and Pocholo Raymundo of OPA Rizal. The Council reviewed the 1st Quarter minutes of the meeting. They also discussed the potential ESP candidates per province which includes Teofely Nature Farms in Silang, Cavite. Inspection audit and renewal of ABF Integrated Farms & Agribusiness Center was also part of the agenda. The quarterly ESP council meeting aims to provide updates on ESP accreditation.
