PAGBILAO, Quezon - The Agricultural Training Institute is conducting a Refresher Course on Farmer-Scientists RDE Training, in coordination with the FSTP-UPLB held on from May 30 to June 1, 2018. Thirty-five participants from Agdangan and Padre Burgos, Quezon are attending the said course. The Refresher Course which focuses on farmer to farmer training is a pre-requisite for the Phase III of the FSTP program.

In Phase III, Farmer-Scientists will share the knowledge, skills and values learned from Phases I and II to other farmers. In preparation for this, participants were divided into seven groups, each group had been assigned a topic, with facilitators from UPLB to manage them through Focus Group Discussions.The learnings gained from this activity will be shared by the participants the following days through demo/micro teaching on the second and third day in preparation for the conduct of phase III.

ATI IV-A staff, composed of Mr. Daynon Kristoff Imperial as Project Officer, with Ms. Agnes Malaca and Ms. Lucina Diwa as support staff, together with UPLB FSTP team are facilitating the training in this municipality.
