GENERAL NAKAR, Quezon- The Agricultural Training Institute Region IVA climate change initiatives on establishing a pilot community for the CRA project was formally transferred to LGU management last December 1, 2017 during the Turnover Ceremonies in Barangay Magsikap, General Nakar, Quezon Province. Attending the ceremonies are the 30 farm family beneficiaries, the local government unit headed by Mayor Eliseo R. Rozul, Sr and project partners from PCA IVA, DA-RFO IVA and OPA Quezon.

The activity also included the ground breaking for the site of the Village-Level Coco Coir Processing Plant and the Organic Fertilizer Production Plant. Individual livelihood project were also distributed to the farm family such as cacao and ubi planting materials, organic fertilizers and farm implements, goat dispersal and fish processing equipment.

The project was launched last August 04, 2017.
