MUNTINLUPA CITY, NCR – Center Director, Marites Piamonte-Cosico accepted the recognition given by the Department of Touirism Region IV-A as Special Awardee for government partner for ATI Region IVA during the Calabarzon Tourism Summit 2017 last November 27, 2017 at the Bellevue Hotel Manila. Other government agencies in the awardees include NEDA IV-A, DPWH IV-A, UPLB TREES, PNP IVA, PNP Cavite and SLSU. The theme for the summit is “Working Toward Sustainable Tourism and Building Partnerships Through Appreciation and Recognition.”

The summit also showcased the launching of “Bring Home a Friend Project, Tourism Accomplishment and Innovation for 2017” as well as “Emerging Destination” in the region. DOT Region IV-A is headed by their Regional Director, Ms. Rebecca Villanueva-Labit.
