CRA beneficiaries to start working on their livelihood projects soon

GENERAL NAKAR, Quezon – Following a series of capability trainings aimed at providing climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and knowledge and skills on various livelihood projects, the Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) beneficiaries will now work on their individual and or group projects.

The thirty (30) beneficiaries completed six trainings including Organic Fertilizer Production, Climate Smart Farm Business School, Package of Technology on Goat Raising, Ubi and Cacao production, and Training Course on Fish Processing among others. After the last training, the project team from the Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A led by Dr. Rolando V. Maningas, Climate Change Focal person conducted a soft turnover of the project.

General Nakar, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Eliseo Ruzol Sr. met with the project team from the ATI IV-A together with the core team from the Municipal Agriculture Office of General Nakar and the project beneficiaries to discuss the terms and responsibilities of each agency/group.

The formal turnover of the livelihood kits will be held on December 1, 2017 at Barangay Magsikap in General Nakar, Quezon.
