Jose Jonas A. Frondoso, Municipal Mayor of Tagkawayan, Quezon.
Concluding the broadcast program of School-on-Air (SOA) on Corn, graduates of “MAISkwelahan Tungo sa Kaunlaran: Isang Teleradyo sa Pagmamaisan” proudly marched during the graduation ceremony on October 13, 2017 in Tagkawayan Covered Court, Tagkawayan, Quezon. Some 470 corn farmers successfully completed the program, 350 from Tagkawayan while 120 from Guinayangan, both in the province of Quezon.
During the graduation day, guests from Local Government of Tagkawayan graced the activity: Hon. Jose Jonas A. Frondoso, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ernesto O. Herras, Chairman on Committee on Agriculture and Municipal Agriculturist Rolando S. Mendoza and staff. Moreover, representatives from Guinayangan attended the graduation: Mr. Christohper Marco J. Isaac, Executive Secretary, Hon. Norman Dublois, Member of Committee on Agriculture, and Municipal Agriculturist Belina O. Rosales and staff. Mr. Roberto D. Gajo, Provincial Agriculturist – Quezon together with the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) staff were also in attendance.
Awarding of Certificates of Training to the graduates highlighted the program. Awarding of Most Outstanding Students and Recognition to program partners were also part of the ceremony.
“Kahit na anong programa, kailangan present yung tatlong haligi – National Agencies/the SUCs (State Universities and Colleges), LGUs (Local Government Units) at Private Individuals.
