Ms. Marites P. Cosico, ATI CaLaBaRZon Center Director, presents the major partner services during the 4th Quarter Regional Management Committee (RMC) Meeting

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna – Reinforcing the ties among different partner agencies under the Department of Agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) CaLaBaRZon hosted the 4th Quarter Regional Management Committee (RMC) Meeting. Some 18 RMC members joined the said meeting.

Engr. Arnel V. De Mesa, Department of Agriculture Regional Executive Director (DA RED) IV-A, presided the RMC meeting. The 4th Quarter RMC meeting commenced with a roll call from the participating agencies, followed by a quorum. Other matters and approval of the minutes of the previous meeting highlighted the meeting. Topics raised during the discussion were the 920060 and 9679 Administrative Order (AO) no. 8. Afterwards, Ms. Marites P. Cosico, Center Director of ATI CaLaBaRZon, presented the major partner services like Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials, Farm Business School (FBS), Learning Sites, Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center, to name a few. A 10-minute video on ATI CaLaBaRZon’s innovations completed the presentation. Meanwhile, RED De Mesa provided updates on CSO Accreditation (AO no. 8 Series of 2017). Furthermore, representatives from DA Regional Filed Office (RFO) IV-A reported on the physical, financial and disbursement status of DA RFO IV-A as well as the assessment of the supply key agricultural products in CaLaBaRZon and assessment to determine the opportunities of major markets in the National Capital Region and CaLaBaRZon.

Alongside the 4th Quarter RMC Meeting, guests and participants gathered in celebration of Christmas Party. Surprise performances and raffle prizes capped off the night.

The 4th Quarter RMC Meeting was held in Splash Mountain Resort, Los Baños, Laguna on November 28 – 29, 2017.
