PUP Mulanay Branch Director, Dr. Adelia R. Roadilla expressed strong support to SOA program during the graduation ceremony at PUP Mulanay last November 25, 2019.
Roadilla vowed to continue what the Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A initiated for their university. She plans to use the technology videos of the SOA program to teach the farmers in their community on livestock production and value adding practices. Consequently, the top learners from PUP Mulanay will be tasked to facilitate the group sessions.
"Ito ay isang paraan upang masiguro ang technology transfer at ma-ensure ang continuity ng programa," she added.
Meanwhile, John Marvin Boongaling, top 2 learner from Batangas State University - Lobo campus expressed his gratitude for being a part of the program.
"Na-experience ko dito na sa simpleng pag-aaral at panonood ng Youtube, maraming napulot na kaalaman na magagamit sa hinaharap. Ito ay magsisilbing binhi sa sa aming buhay na may isang mayabong na aanihin." Boongaling is a recipient of a beekeeping project as part of the extension support that were awarded to all top 3 learners from each SUC.
Top 1 learners received a goat or native pig module depending on its suitability to their community and top 3 learners received chicken or duck module. All top 2 learners received two established stingless bee hive including a bee veil and hive tool.
Program partners from SUCs will help the recipients raise and monitor their livestocks.

All students who completed the five short quizzes and long exams were awarded with a certificate of completion. The program partners were also recognizedfor their dedication and efforts during the ceremony.
This School on the Air (SOA) program on Livestock is the first SOA which used Youtube as platform to disseminate a package of technology. The technology videos are open to public and may be accessed in the Youtube channel, ATICalabarzon SOALivestock.
