Farmers get ready for graduation rites of SOA

Cavite Province - Corn farmers and swine raisers who were able to complete the requirements of the program are excited and looking forward to meet fellow learners from other municipalities.

The graduation ceremony is the most anticipated phase of the program as farmer-enrollees receive their certificate of training, and medals for outstanding students. Dubbed as Natatanging Mag-aaral, farmer-enrollees who got the highest quiz scores and have been active listeners will be selected per municipality and given special awards.

LGU executives, Municipal/City Agriculturists and Veterinarian, Livestock Inspectors, FITS-Information Service Specialists, Provincial Agriculturist and Veterinarian, Agriculture and Livestock Technologists who served as Radio Teachers and the graduating farmers and other guests will participate in the said ceremony.

The SOA focused on corn production entitled MAISkwelahan Tungo sa Kaunlaran: Isang Teleradyo Sa Pagmamaisan whose broadcast airing ended last September 1, 2017 will hold its graduation ceremony on October 13, 2017 at the Covered Court of Tagkawayan, Quezon.

Meanwhile, Radyo Eskwela sa Sustenableng Pag-aalaga ng Baboy, a SOA on Sustainable Pig Production will have its graduation rites on September 21, 2017 in Tanay Gymnasium, Rizal province.

Preparations are on the way for the graduation ceremony of two School-on-the-Air (SOA), implemented in 2017 by the Information Services Section of the ATI RTC in CaLaBaRZon.
