Cosico challenges graduates of ETMCD course

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna - "May you all continue to excel after surviving the ETMCD," said ATI IV-A Center Director, Marites Piamonte-Cosico to the selected Learning Site (LS) owners/staff in CaLaBaRZon who completed the Extension and Training Management Capability Development (ETMCD) course.

The 27 participants who actively engaged in the training course were, Graco Farms and Leisure Inc., Boogies Farm, Teofely Nature Farm Inc, Happi Farm, AISPORA Workers Association, Mendez Organic Farm/ Training Center, VOHO Eco-tourism Farm, LuntiangRepublikaEcofarms, Sanctuario Nature Farms Corporation, Alamana Farm Academy, Lukong Valley Farm Agriventures, Inc., BeegoodAgriventures, Uma Verde EcoNature Farm, Ranchito Farm, Chad’s Nature Farm, Sweet Nature Farms, SanSar Farm, Quality Life Long Learning Institute, Javier Eco Farm and Resort, GintongBukid Farm and Leisure, Nylove Farm, Flor’s Garden, Cortijo de Palsabangon Farm Park and Leisure, Gorgeous Farm, CV TorejaAgri Enterprises, and Agrie’s Integrated Natural Farm.

The training provided the participants with common orientation and skills in conducting extension and training courses. Six days after the lecture-discussions, workshops, use of structured learning exercises and writeshops, the participants opened their minds and hearts to the realities of being an Extensionist/trainer.

As final outputs, the participants were divided into groups and were required to present a project proposal, AV script, and a short video showcasing their farms. ATI IV-A hopes to standardize the conduct of trainings and extension-related activities with the newly-trained extension partners.

This five-day training course was held on August 27 - September 1, 2018 in this municipality.
