PADRE GARCIA, Batangas- To extend excellent extension services in CALABARZON, MoCA Family Farm RLearning Center was formally launched as ATI IV-A’s Private Extension Service Provider (ESP) last August 11, 2017 in Brgy. Castillo, Padre Garcia, Batangas. This places MoCA farm as the third accredited ESP in the region.

ATI IV-A Center Director Ms. Marites Piamonte-Cosico lauded the initiative and effort of the management of MoCA farm in [this] agricultural endeavor. “Natutuwa kami na ang MoCa Farm, ang kauna-unahan naming Learning Site at may mga sumunod at sila rin ang una naming Extension Service Provider sa Batangas. So meron ng tutulong sa amin, sa ATI, na i-accommodate lahat ng farmers, lahat Rural Women, and even din mga youth. Kelangan namin ng ka partner, at kung ano ang skills at expertise ng MoCA Farm maibaba nila sa ibaba”, said Center Director Cosico.

ATI’s Private [ESPs] provide opportunities and wider participation of the private sector in the conduct of agricultural extension services. The government recognizes the efforts and capabilities of private institutions/ service providers dedicated to the delivery of agriculture and fisheries extension services. Particularly, the ESPs greatly help advance the delivery of extension services to the Department of Agriculture's client system.

MoCA Family Farm RLearning Center as ESP will provide a variety of training programs / extension activities for farmers and fishers in support of the thrusts of the agriculture and fisheries modernization program.Representatives from Villar SIPAG, ATI ITCPH, TESDA Batangas, Quezon National Agricultural School (QNAS), Pagbilao, Quezon, Office of the Provincial Agriculture Office of Batangas, Municipality of Padre Garcia, Batangas, and officials of Barangay Castillo, Padre Garcia, Batangas were present during the launching.
MoCA Family Farm RLearning Center is also accredited by TESDA Batangas as Training Center of Agricultural Crop Production NC II.
