PAGBILAO, Quezon - Taking its part in promoting advocacy and adaption of Organic Agriculture (OA) practices towards sustainable health, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Regional Training Center in CaLaBaRZon partnered with State Colleges and Universities for its possible integration in school curricula and activities. A three-day activity entitled "OA Curriculum Integration" was conducted on July 19 - 21, 2017 at Cortijo De Palsabangon, Pagbilao Quezon (one of the Center's Learning Sites). Some 30 faculty members from Cavite State University – Indang Campus and Batangas State University – Lobo Campus participated in the activity.

"Dati we were being told about how good is OA, pero madami pa din ang skeptical about it. Hinanap ko talaga yung missing link, that's why sumama talaga ako sa training because I really want to see farms that are doing it, and that was very nice yung first day and that was your best schedule, inuna nyo ang mga success stories, nakita talaga namin ang ginagawa nila, yun ang missing link sa technology,” said Mr. Noel Sedigo, Professor IV from Cavite State University.

The activity aims to show best practices of OA through farm visits and immersion and understand the mechanics of OA curriculum integration.
