CALACA, Batangas- Some sixty-one (61) enrolled participants of Ala Eh! Maiskwelahan: Isang Radyo Eskwela sa Batangas joined the first batch of Meet and Greet.
“Meet and Greet” is one of the School-on-the-Air (SOA) innovations wherein the live broadcast is held in selected municipality. During the activity, the enrollees participated in a quiz bee dubbed as “Maistanong.”
Another highlight of the event was the discussion of previous week's lesson of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) delivered by GAP Focal Person of Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Batangas (OPA), Ms. Melinda T. Mendoza.
Provincial Corn and Cassava Coordinator of OPA Batangas, Ms. Grace S. Faraon, served as the radio teacher during the live airing of Maiskwelahan. She discussed the topic of nature, control and prevention of Aflatoxin.
During the live-airing, participants were able to become part of the program as audience.
The “Meet and Greet” was spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A in collaboration with Provincial Agriculture Office of Batangas, held at the 2nd Floor of Municipal Hall, Calaca, Batangas last June 22, 2019.
