TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) CALABARZON awards the certificate to D’Constantinos Farm Corp., adding to the list as certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA). The farm is located in Brgy. Pantihan 2, Maragondon, Cavite.
Dr. Rolando V. Maningas, OIC Assistant Center Director and Ms. Sherylou C. Alfaro, Chief of Partnerships and Accreditation Section award the certificate to Mr. Rany P. Constantino, owner of D’Constantinos Farm Corp. Signing of Memorandum of Agreement between ATI CALABARZON and D’Constantinos Farm Corp. also highlighted the activity.
LSA serves as a model farm which showcases applicable agriculture technologies and agri-processing technologies to help improve capabilities of small farmers and the other rural community members. One of the major requirements to become a certified LSA is the willingness and ability to demonstrate technologies.
The awarding of certificate and MOA signing transpired on May 26, 2021 at ATI CALABARZON, Brgy. Lapidario, Trece Maritres City. To date, ATI CALABARZON has 90 certified LSAs in the region, whereas 19 are in the province of Cavite. D’Constantinos Farm Corp. is the first farm to be certified in Cavite province this year.
