TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite- “Let this training be your small Bayanihan Project where you achieve your personal goals, at the same time, help fellow trainees or agripreneurs grow [their agribusiness].”

This is what Agricultural Training Institute - CALABARZON Center Director, Ms. Marites Cosico stressed in her message during the program launching of Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program (KAMMP) Online.

CD Cosico encouraged the participants to consider providing their fellow mentees with help or small favors like referring an agricultural store selling products at a cheaper price or providing a new niche in the market. And all these help will be provided without anticipating anything in return. She also heartened the participants to relive and cultivate the Bayanihan spirit which is a core essence of the Filipino culture.

The KAMMP Online was developed as a practical delivery mechanism for the same mentorship modules being used to propel Agripreneurs to “survive, reboot and grow” amidst the pandemic. In this training, industry practitioners will provide guidance and assistance to agricultural cooperatives or associations, youth and agri-entrepreneurs by sharing learnings from their experiences through online platform.

The Agricultural Training Institute- CALABARZON and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship Foundation Inc. - Go Negosyo (PCE-Go Negosyo) rolled out another batch of this online mentorship training which enables both institutions to increase its reach and implement agricultural business innovations. It will be participated by 37 mentees, composed mostly of ATI- Calabarzon’s accredited Learning Sites for Agriculture and private organizations that plan to venture into agribusiness.

The launching which was live streamed at the ATI Calabarzon Facebook page last April 29, 2021 was also graced by Go Negosyo’s Senior Adviser for Agripreneurship and Mindanao Programs Head, Ms. Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar.
