TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - In celebration of the 2021 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in CALABARZON, in partnership with Manila Bulletin, Agriculture Online and Smart Communications Inc. brought to public “AgriTalk,” featuring the women in agriculture last March 26, 2021.

Four prominent and admirable women in agriculture sector served as guest speakers in the webinar, namely: Ms. Noriko Usui, General Manager of Cortijo de Palsabangon Farm Park and Restaurant, who discussed farm development enterprise; Cavite State University (CvSU) Extension Director Dr. Almira G Magcawas talked about the the intervention of R&D and extension to uplift the livelihood of the farmers; Municipal Agriculture Office of Silang,Cavite Ms. Adelia V. Poblete emphasized the role of the local government unit in the implementation of gender equality and women empowerment; and OIC Regional Executive Director Ms. Vilma Dimaculangan of DA-RFO IV-A focused on leadership and governance.

The one-day activity, dubbed as AgriTalk 2021: featuring the AgriWomen in CALABARZON was streamed live at the official FB page of ATI CALABARZON, ATI Central Office, Agriculture Online and simulcast airing on ATI IV-A’s YouTube channel, AgriStudio.
