MoCa Family Farm RLearning Center, 1st Regional ESP FITS Center

PADRE GARCIA, Batangas - Located in the municipality of Padre Garcia, MoCa Family Farm RLearning Center (MFFRLC) is one of the Regional Extension Service Provider (ESP) of Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) CaLaBaRZon in delivering extension services to farmers, students and other stakeholders.

As ESP, MFFRLC aims to strengthen its information services through the establishment of Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center.

To ratify the establishment of FITS Center, Ms. Marites Piamonte – Cosico, Center Director of ATI CaLaBaRZon and Ms. Gloria Pontejos - Morris, School Director and Farm Owner of MFFRLC, signed an agreement on the implementation and operation during the launching of the FITS Center.

Center Director Cosico lauded the MFFRLC for its effort and initiative to increase the information dissemination of technologies in agriculture and fisheries.

Present during the launching were Engr. Pablito A. Balantac, Provincial Agriculturist of Batangas and Engr. Hazel Reyes, Municipal Agriculturist of Padre Garcia.

Through the establishment of FITS Center, stakeholders and target clients will be able to access information and technologies on agriculture and fisheries easily in the one-stop service facility.

The launching of FITS Center was held on February 26, 2020 in Brgy. Castillo, Padre Garcia, Batangas. MFFRLC is the first ever private ESP FITS Center in the country.
