ATI in CALABARZON holds stakeholder consultation to harmonize extension activities

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - True its commitment to unify Agriculture and Fisheries Extension (AFE) system in the region, ATI RTC IV-A conducted a series of provincial stakeholders consultations, attended by Municipal Agriculturists and representatives of the Office of the Municipal and City Agriculturist.

This regular activity aims to sustain strong relationship with the Local Government Unit (LGU) partners and identify specific needs of municipalities and cities. The results of which are incorporated in the formulation of the Center's plans and programs in the next years.
The consultations were held on January 25 (Cavite province), February 14 (Quezon province), February 15 (Batangas province), February 20 (Laguna province) and February 22 (Rizal province) at ATI's certified LSA and partner offices.

The output of this activity is the list of prospective participants per activity of the RTC, including their commitment to send participants from the LGUs who were present. Another consultation is scheduled for RAFEN members including National Government Agencies (NGAs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and private sectors in March 2019.
