STA. BARBARA, PANGASINAN – Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Cenater I (ATI-RTC I), in partnership with the Go-Negosyo successfully conducted the Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program (KAMMP) virtual graduation on November 12, 2021 via zoom.

The program aims to nurture and sustain agri-business in the country through mentorship. Industry practitioners serve as mentors in providing guidance and assistance to agricultural cooperatives or associations, and Agri-enterprises. They share their learnings from their business-related experiences as stated in the project proposal submitted by PCE Go-Negosyo. Furthermore, it emphasizes the value-adding and entrepreneurship of agricultural products and commodities which help farmers to become agri-entrepreneur by conceptualizing how they will strategically compete in the market.

There were 18 out of 29 farmer-participants who enrolled to this program as mentees completed the nine (9) training modules on 1) Entrepreneurial Mind Setting and Values Formation; 2) Business Model Canvass; 3) Digital Marketing (Digitalization of Agri Market Place); 4) Accounting Basics; 5) Farm Operation Management; 6) Agri Supply and Value Chain; 7) Obligations and Contracts; Basic Administrative Management / Good Business Practices; and 9) Business Plan Development.

As part of their outputs, mentees successfully presented and defended their Business Improvement Plans ( BIPs) to 12 panelists last November 9, 2021.

Dr. Grace T. Ventura, Project Officer/Section Chief, ATI-RTC1, and Ms. Abby Famadico, Go-Negosyo facilitator, hosted the graduation ceremony. Dr. Willian D. Dar, DA Secretary, Dr. Rosana Mula, OIC-Director ATI, Mr. Joey Concepcion, Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder, and Dr. Rogelio C. Evangelista, ATI-RTC1 Center Director gave their inspirational messages to the graduates.
