The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) through its Regional Training Centers conducted a simultaneous Harvest Festival/Field Day last May 2021 in support to the Farmers and Fisherfolks Month Celebration. As one of its regional training center, the ATI Ilocos Region participated in the festivity. Part of the said festivity was to produce a five-minute video presentation as the regional training centers’ entry to the said contest where ATI-RTC 1 bagged 2nd place as the Best ATI Center Based Urban Agriculture Garden.

With the continuous support in the Department of Agriculture’s “Plant, Plant, Plant Program”, the center was able to showcase through the video the diversified and integrated farming systems. These include container gardening, squarefoot gardening, vertical gardening, edible landscaping, aquaponics, hydroponics, and raised bed gardening they used in farming. The ATI-RTC 1 Satellite in Batac City, Ilocos Norte was also able to showcase the farming systems and technologies they used through livestream last May 24, 2021, the scheduled virtual showcase of the ATI-RTC 1 Harvest Festival 2021.
