ATI-RTC I holds leadership skills and livelihood training for La Union 4-H’ers

LUNA, La Union – In response to the government’s call for closer and responsive partnership with the youth sector, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center I conducted Leadership Skills and Livelihood Training for La Union 4-H’ers on April 11-13, 2019 at Luna National High School, Luna, La Union.

A total of 30 members of 4-H La Union participated in the three-day training, which aimed to develop the leadership skills and capabilities of the 4-H’ers.

Participants joined different activities such as volleyball, spoken poetry, moving quiz bee, cultural dance, hip-hop dance, search for Mr. and Ms. 4-H, coastal cleanup, zumba dance and mushroom production seminar. The activities served as a training for the attendees to improve their skills.

“The training is actually good and very interesting. Training become a ground for them to be trained on how to give attention in agricultural resources. It also served as an avenue for them to gain more knowledge concerning the sector and department of agriculture,” Runyl Pappia-oa of 4-H La Union said.

This 4-H activity also served as a preparation to the Regional Youth Camp, which was scheduled in the last week of April 2019 at Camp Avenue, San Juan, La Union.
