ATI-RTC 1 holds Training on Technical Writing

With the goal of enhancing the skills on technical writing, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center I held a three-day Training on Technical Writing for ATI-RTC 1 Staff at Reotutar’s Garden and Resort, Villasis, Pangasinan last April 15-17, 2019.

The training was participated by 25 ATI-RTC 1 Staff who learned various topics about technical writing like writing business letters, which is a requirement in a workplace, and different types of articles like narrative report and features. The participants also learned about discerning verified information to what is not, and using social media as an effective tool in disseminating information which were all discussed by Mr. Jesus Rafael B. Jarata, Chairperson of the Languages Department in DMMMSU-SLUC.

The activity was spearheaded by Mr. Ajea C. Alcantara, Media Production Aide V with the supervision of Ms. Maricel D. Dacapias, Section Head of Information Service Section (ISS). Dr Rogelio C. Evangelista, Center Director, also gave his remarks on the first day.

The ATI-RTC 1 continues to fulfill one of its core values which is innovation and excellence through learning essentials in improving their service and keeping the bar raised.
