ATI-RTC I successfully conducts project documentation and packaging training

Santa Barbara, Pangasinan – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center I (ATI-RTC I) conducted a five-day Training on Extension Project Documentation and Packaging for AgRiDOCs (Agricultural Development Officer of the Community) on March 25-29, 2019. This training was participated by 30 AgRIDOC graduates.

The training aimed to enhance the AgRiDOCs with necessary attitude, knowledge and skills in the documentation and packaging of their extension projects and practices that can be used on their implemented Community Development Project from their respective municipalities.

Present on the activity was the Center Director of ATI-RTC I, Dr. Rogelio C. Evangelista. On his message, he pointed out that the Institute provide such trainings for its constituents to be able to help our famers.

Meanwhile, the participants took heavy note on the importance of extension projects in Rural Development, Project Documentation Procedures, Project Packaging Procedures, and the structured learning exercises that was provided by Dr. Carmelo Esteban, a Professor of the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) who served as the resource person on the first and second day of the training.

One of the highlights of the training was the workshop on Technical Writing (styles, tips, rules) facilitated by Professor Love Grace Campano of MMSU as the resource person on the third day.

Moreover, Mr. Nimrod T. Cendaña, the resource person on the fourth day of training shared some tips on video production to the participants. He showed how to operate the DSLR Camera and assessed their skills through workshop for they are expected to prepare a draft storyline and video of their best extension practices.

On the last day of training on Extension Project Documentation and Packaging for AgRIDOCs, the participants presented their outputs (Write-up and Video).

The training was led by Ms. Jeimelie C. Constantino, project officer, supported by training management team, Ms. Chlariza Jane Lagmay and Ms Reylyn Ermitanio and ATI RTC I staff.
