STA. BARBARA, Pangasinan - The Agricultural Training Institute–Regional Training Center I (ATI-RTC I) celebrated ATI’s 33rd Anniversary on January 29-30, 2020 in Tebag East, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan with a theme: “Vibrant Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Services towards Masaganang Ani and Mataas na Kita”.

As the training arm of the Department of Agriculture, the event aimed to celebrate the institution’s quality services in agricultural extension to all clients including farmers, fisherfolks and other stakeholders. It was also intended to promote camaraderie among ATI-RTC I employees.

During the celebration, a thanksgiving mass, blessing and inauguration of new facilities, outreach program, fun activities and awarding of ATI-RTC I regular staff and job orders were conducted. Moreover, partners from different agencies in Region I were also given an award in recognition of their invaluable support to the success of the agency.

Former Center Director of ATI-RTC I and the Guest of Honor and Speaker of the 33rd Anniversary, Ms. Corazon Antonio, inspired everyone with her message. “After 33 years of existence of ATI adda iti seeds nga naipatakder , naimula ditoy nga Center in this Region, those ket nag-rosing, nagsabung ket nagbunga and the seeds multiplied. Those seeds can be lightened to a tree and it is ATI. Apay nga kuna tayo nga very important iti ATI and all of us here now? ATI ket nagbunga and many tasted the fruits and many said they are delicious and sweet,” Ms. Antonio said. She was grateful to the partners and implementers who extended their support to the institution. “This year calls for committed, proud, unified, dignified partners for a common purpose but we need patience, perseverance and we should be joyful and hopeful to reach that what we call Masaganang ani at Mataas na kita”. Ms. Antonio added.
