STA.BARBARA, PANGASINAN – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) marks another milestone of excellent extension services beyond boundaries as it commemorated its 34th Anniversary and Thanksgiving Celebration in the region on January 29, 2021 at the ATI-RTC I Multi-Purpose Hall, Tebag East, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
With the theme, “ATI@34 LEADS in Mobilizing & Empowering Partners & Communities Towards One DA”, various partner agencies, led by the members of the Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Network of Region One (RAFEN 1), the Local Government Units of Binalonan and Balungao, and Samahang Itinataguyod ang Kaunlaran ng Agri-Turismo sa Rehiyon Uno, Inc (1SIKAT), joined ATI-RTC I in its anniversary celebration.
The highlights of the occassion include the following activities:
• Thanksgiving Mass
• Awarding of Financial Assistance to Certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) of Region 1
• Awarding of One Million Pesos to the 2020 Rice Achiever Awardee
• Awarding of Cash and Certificates to ATI-RTC I’s Loyal and Retired Employees
• Inauguration of the ATI-RTC I Livestock Processing Hub
• Launching of ATI-RTC I’s new publications entitled “Klima: Kalikasan ay Linangin at Ingatan upang Makamit Asensong asam”, and “Book of Impressions: Life Learning Experiences”
• Formal tur-over of RAFEN1 Book entitled “Timpuyog Idiay Away, Dur-as Inna Iburay” or “Damayan sa Barangay, Ginhawa ibibigay”
• Fun Games for ATI-RTC I staff
Fr. Mariano Antonio G. Ranera, Jr., the Officiating Priest during the Thanksgiving Mass encouraged everyone and said, “To be an ATI, let’s be Aggressive to do more better things, Totally committed to greatness, and become an Inspiration for others.”
ATI looks forward to a more challenging year of dedication and commitment to agriculture and fisheries extension services in the region.
