STA. BARBARA, PANGASINAN – To encourage farmers in utilizing technologies in farming, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 1 conducted two batches of Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 102 on October 12-13, 2021 (1st Batch) and October 14-15, 2021 (2nd Batch) via Zoom.

In the past years, dry spells or limited rainfall has been observed in the region, which contributed to the decrease of farm productivity of farmers. Their rice yield was reduced as well as with other crops as they fail to plant or integrate other commodities during the dry season.
