DILIMAN, Quezon City—With its mission to empower and build capacities of agriculture and fisheries stakeholders for sustainable development, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) conducted over 20 free seminars in 2019.
Spearheaded by the Partnerships and Accreditation Division (PAD), the seminar series on crops, livestock, fisheries, and urban agriculture has benefited thousands of attendees from all over the country.
ALFONSO, Cavite—Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar called for collective support in lowering the cost of production for organic agriculture during the 16th National Organic Agriculture Congress (NOAC).
“The challenge today for the organic agriculture sector is to further reduce the cost of production and increase productivity so that, at the end of the day, the products being sold in the market become more affordable,” he said.
DILIMAN, Quezon City—Following the memorandum circular issued by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the practice of organic agriculture is expected to be further developed and widely promoted across different barangays in the country.
