I saw Mang Tino, with his wife Elvira and their 4 kids, stepping out happily from Jollibee. It's been their routine to drop at this food chain after attending church service every Thursday and Sunday. I can depict from their eyes the contentment they have. Carling, in his middle age, is on his way to his new multi cab. In it are his new purchases of seeds, fertilizers and other farm inputs, in preparation for next cropping season. I also noticed a new bicycle on top of the farm inputs. I'm sure, this is a surprise present to his only son Koykoy.

It was a cloudy morning of May 30, 2013 when we left for Bongabong and Roxas for our final orientation of the School on the Air Program for the Second District of Oriental Mindoro. Midway through our journey, rain poured and thunders rolled as if a storm was brewing. The situation made me contemplate backup plans since we cannot cancel the scheduled orientation, knowing that the start of airing will be on next Tuesday. In my silence, I prayed to GOD to give me wisdom and let me trust HIM for whatever HIS plan for us that time.

It's my nth stay at ATI-CAR, the ATI training center for the Cordilleras. Located in La Trinidad, the capital town of Benguet, it is the first compound you'll see upon entering the campus of Benguet State University (BSU). I can't even remember now how many times I have conducted trainings there. I just don't seem to get tired of the place.
