DILIMAN, Quezon City –  Following a series of consultations with teachers nationwide, “AgriKids” program is set to reach thousands of classrooms early next year, serving as an accessible teaching and learning resource for approximately 10,000 public schools nationwide.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—Over 100 principals and teachers from 37 schools nationwide are now looking forward to bringing agriculture closer to the hearts of their students through the “AgriKids Digital Learning Resources for Future Farmers.” This is after taking part in the nationwide consultation series held for the project last month.

QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila—To encourage the youth to engage in farming and serve as partners in promoting agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) has partnered with local government units and the Department of Education in intensifying the “Glamourizing Farming through Urban Agriculture” Program.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The promotion of urban agriculture as a strategy of the Department of Agriculture (DA) for food security has extended to Caloocan through the city’s Department of Education-Schools Division Office (DepEd-SDO).

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) has partnered with the Department of Education-Schools Division Office of Quezon City (DepEd-SDO-QC) to implement an integrated urban agriculture project.

The partnership was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by officials of the ATI and DepEd-SDO-QC. This is in support to the DA’s “Ahon Lahat, Pagkaing Sapat (ALPAS) Laban sa COVID-19” or “Plant, Plant, Plant” Program.
